The new P3 book is all about clothes and dressing up, so here are some fun origami videos for you to try.
Hi everyone. I love watching the Crash Course videos for adults, but these ones are for children. This one is about Non-Newtonian Fluids, which are really strange:
This one is about Extreme Weather:
And click here for the link to the Youtube channel. They speak VERY fast and lots of words are difficult, but please try to watch and enjoy. You can try adding the subtitles if you want some extra help - just click on the button shown below:
In P3, we have been looking at keeping safe. Here are the games that we played. Have you ever had an accident at home or outside? Send me a message and tell me about it.
Do you remember the old MTR song? Well, here's the new version. It's not a Mr O song, but I think it's just as good! Can you sing along? Which station is near your home?
Thank you to everyone who sent me a card this year, especially Heidi, Bonnie, Lowell, Lucas, Ali and Bodhi. Also, thank you to Ada from Kei Hin for your lovely message.
At last! The "behind the scenes" footage from "My Family". I hope you like it. I removed the "squashed tomato" scene because it seemed very horrible. Do you think I should have left it in the video?
Do you want to make the crocodile in the video? Watch the instructions on Youtube below and try it. My paper was about 30cm by 30cm, but you can use any square piece of paper. What other animals would you like to make? Which do you think would be easy or difficult to make by folding paper?
These are the three videos I made in my old school. I needed to tell students that I would be serving food in the tuck shop every week, so I thought I would do it in a fun way with a silly video. I made a new one each year for three years. I hope you like them!
Tuck Shop One - Sleeping
I think I made this in March, 2013. It's very short and simple, but my students liked it. The idea is that I'm being lazy in the English Room, and Mr Gary wants me to do something useful like work in the tuck shop. I thought it would be fun to give him some magic powers. Can you guess how I made myself disappear and reappear?
Tuck Shop Two - Video Games
I made the second video in October, in the new school year. I was inspired by another filmmaker who makes videos about computer games (I can't tell you who he is, though - it's for grown-ups only!) This video is longer and more complicated, but really the story is the same as the first one. The game I'm playing is Xenon 2. What other things could I be doing in the English Room instead of working?
Tuck Shop Three - The Finale
This was the last video I made before I left that school in 2014. I wanted to try doing the light sabre effects and to put together a "fight" scene. It was quite difficult to do, but I had lots of help from some other teachers. I think this video concludes the trilogy by showing that Mr Gary and I are friends, despite our "disagreements"! Would you have chosen a different ending to these videos?
